    National Center For Parents

In response to the need to address parental empowerment and mobilization in this country, the National Center for Parents (NCP) was established.

A national, university-wide center, the NCP focuses on broad issues affecting parents that transcend the traditional boundaries of race, color, national origin, and socioeconomic status.

    Mission

To engage in multi-disciplinary research and the delivery of useful information that demonstrates how policy affects parents and leads to action.

    Vision

The NCP will be a national leader in the development of parental impact statements that government, non-profit agencies, and businesses use when formulating legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures, relating to children and the family.
